Unfortunately it's only available to members, and I'm too cheap to pay for membership.

First, let's stretch that idea out even more and ask, where did the 'grey area' go in all of the so-called litmus test issues? Example, I consider myself pro-life, but I can't bring myself to the point of telling another person (read legislating)what to do with their body in regards to a medical procedure, there are people more qualified to do that...doctors.
Another example, gun control. By almost anyone's measure, I would qualify as one of the 'don't touch 'em unless you own 'em' types. However, having discussed the topic at length with people deemed 'pro gun-control' by self and/or society, I have come to the conclusion that a certain willingness is often found. Most of them have even been willing to handle and shoot firearms for the first time after said discussions.
Both examples in addition to more in regards to other 'issues' leads me to think that while there may not always be a middle-ground, there is at least an opportuntity for constructive dialogue AND that popular media do us more harm than good sometimes in regards to reaching a concensus on some issues. That's where blogs like this step in.

Ughh...I'll stop posting for now. Too late and making all kinds of typos and unclear statements. For the sake of clarity, I should add to my previous statement and say that regarding 'willingness' I mean willing to hear the other viewpoint.

I don't mind the typos and you make some very good points. Extreme language is too polarizing to be constructive. I am pro-CHOICE and i take offence at being labeled pro-Abortion, even if you hang "rights" on the end of it. Thanks for commenting.
